A Glimpse Into Their World
Background
Zeeshan is in grade 5 and lives in a family of six. He has four brothers, and together they share a small but lively home. His father works as a tailor at a textile factory where he spends long hours stitching clothes. His mother also works as a tailor, but she does her sewing from home. Both parents work very hard, yet it is still difficult to manage all the expenses of the household.
Before joining Minor Care, Zeeshan studied at City Public School. He liked the school, but over time the fees and other costs became too much for the family to handle. With growing financial pressure, they had no choice but to look for another option. When they learned about Minor Care and found out that everything was free, they felt relieved. Zeeshan was enrolled immediately, and he also joined the after school academy, which helps him study and improve his skills without any cost.
Zeeshan follows a clear routine each day. After school he goes home, eats his lunch, and changes his clothes. Then he returns to Minor Care academy where he studies, revises, and gets help with his subjects. After the academy he does not rest, because he works with his brothers as a moti sitare craftsman. They earn a daily wage of one hundred rupees. Even though it is not a large amount, it helps support the family, and Zeeshan takes pride in contributing.
He has a few favourite things that make him happy. His favourite color is blue, and he enjoys watching pigeons because he finds them peaceful. He likes football and often plays with his brothers and friends whenever he gets the chance. One of his favourite places to visit is the zoo because he loves interacting with animals and observing their behavior. It makes him feel connected to nature.
Even with the challenges of life, Zeeshan remains strong and keeps dreaming. His biggest wish is to join the army when he grows up. He wants to serve his country, live with honor, and make his parents proud. He believes that with hard work, discipline, and determination, he can achieve his dream.
