A Glimpse Into Their World

Background
Shalloom is a Class 1 student and the youngest of six siblings, with four sisters and one brother who are all older than him. His mother works as a teacher at the school he attends, and his father drives a rickshaw to support the family.

Every morning, Shalloom wakes up with hope in his eyes, excited to get ready for school. He loves being in the classroom, learning new things, and exploring every subject with curiosity.

Whether it’s reading, writing, or numbers, he wants to understand it all. He takes pride in completing his homework and often asks questions so he can learn even more. At school, Shalloom enjoys playing football and cricket with his friends. He talks about them often and says he loves spending time with them, both in class and during playtime. The friendships he has built motivate him to come to school with a smile each day. After school, he goes home for tuition, where his mother teaches him and helps him strengthen his studies. This extra support encourages him to stay focused and improve day by day.

Shalloom dreams of joining the army when he grows up. He wants to serve, protect, and stand with courage. With his determination, discipline, and love for learning, he carries a bright hope for the future, one that can take him far beyond the boundaries of his small classroom.
