A Glimpse Into Their World

Background
Anjali is in prep and the eldest of four siblings. Her mother and father work long hours at brick kilns. When she was younger, she also went to work at the brick kilns, but her father decided she should study so she could have a better future. Now, she stays home to take care of her younger siblings and helps her parents whenever she can.

Anjali loves studying and enjoys being in her classroom. She admires her teachers and listens carefully to learn as much as she can. She dreams of fulfilling her parents’ desires and becoming successful one day. Life is not always easy. When there is no salary left, there is sometimes no food at home. At those times, Anjali goes to her paternal aunts in the hope of getting something to eat, and sometimes she does. Despite these difficulties, she remains caring and responsible..

Anjali loves her siblings and helps take care of them. She enjoys helping her parents and does small tasks to make their day easier. Even at a young age, she works hard, studies, and dreams of a future where she can support her family and create a better life for everyone she loves.
