A Glimpse Into Their World

Background
Arooj is a bright and responsible 13-year-old student who is the eldest of four siblings, with two sisters and two brothers. Both her mother and father work as cleaners at Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital. From a young age, Arooj has helped her mother at the hospital while balancing her studies. Earlier, she used to study at a government primary school, which required her to manage both work and learning.

Now, she studies at Minorcare and goes to her academy to continue her education. Arooj has many wishes that she has never shared with her parents because she understands their financial struggles. She feels grateful to be at her current school, where everything she needs for learning is provided. She loves animals, especially goats, and enjoys playing ludo in her free time. Biryani is her favorite food, which she enjoys whenever she gets a chance.

Arooj dreams of visiting Kashmir in Pakistan, imagining the mountains and beauty of the region. Her biggest dream, however, is to become a doctor. She wants to lessen the load on her parents and bring success and pride to her family. This dream motivates her to study hard every day, balancing her responsibilities, play, and learning. Arooj’s determination, caring nature, and hope for a better future make her a child full of promise and resilience.
