A Glimpse Into Their World

Background
Shamoon is a thoughtful and hardworking Class 3 student who loves learning and dreams of becoming a doctor. His father works as a rickshaw driver, and his mother is a housewife.

He has six siblings, all older than him, and all of them study. None of the children work, which Shamoon considers a blessing. His eldest sister was in Grade 9, but she had to discontinue her studies because she faced harassment on her way to school. It was more convenient for the family to take her out of school than to accompany her, which shows the challenges Shamoon’s family faces. Despite this, Shamoon is determined to continue his education and make the most of the opportunities he has.

Shamoon eats whatever is affordable and easy for his family to get. He has learned to be grateful for simple meals and appreciates the effort his parents put into providing for the family. His favorite foods are not extravagant, but he enjoys them with a sense of contentment. He loves his teachers and enjoys learning from them. Shamoon is dedicated to his studies and focuses on doing well so he can achieve his dream of becoming a doctor. His discipline, love for learning, and caring nature make him a child full of promise, ready to grow into someone responsible, kind, and successful.
